Dragon’s Dogma 2: Guide to Dawn City Quests

Dragon’s Dogma 2: The City of Dawn mission has multiple branches and requirements. If you want to know how to complete this mission, please continue reading.

Preface: A total of five places need to be evacuated, namely the excavation site, Volcano Island, Holy Tree Hidden Village, Verlin Voss, and Barkbader. The order of evacuation chosen by the author is Excavation Site → Volcano Island → Holy Tree Hidden Village → Verlin Voss → Barkbader. Considering that some players may not have completed the Elf Village side quest, if you want to make up for it, you can leave Barkbader for evacuation last.

Henrik’s Righteousness

1. Upon arriving at the excavation site, there will be a battle encounter. After resolving it, Henrik informs us of the situation of the followers and tasks us with finding the Voice of the Divine. After receiving the key from him, head to the location in the image below to find it. Return and complete the mission by reporting back.

Ernest’s Request

1. This is a standard escort mission for an elderly couple. There isn’t much to say about it. Find the elderly couple and return with them using a teleportation stone. Convince Rumont to protect the couple, then the mission is completed.

Tyson’s Expectation

This is also a straightforward task once the prerequisites are met. Simply plant trees at the central marked point on the map and report back. Remember to defeat the red pillar boss in the Elf Village.

If you prefer not to do side quests and want to trigger the evacuation directly, talk to the village chief multiple times or give gifts to improve your relationship with them.

Sven’s Determination

1. Progress according to the flow. If you haven’t completed Sven’s personal quest, give him the mechanism box from his room or bring Lady Diessa to him to trigger reconciliation. If you’ve completed Sven’s personal quest, arrange for a cart to be taken out and when you return, you’ll see Sven persuading Lady Diessa.

Melina’s Sincerity

1. First, talk to the queen to learn that Melina’s assistance is needed for the evacuation.
2. Melina is located near the red pillar boss. Simply talk to her to be tasked with mediating conflicts among the people.
3. Resolve the argument between children by giving food to the little girl, making sure it’s not rotten.
4. When two adults want to duel, choose to be a witness for them and let them fight for a while before stopping them.
5. Another couple is arguing; when they start attacking you out of frustration, keep pulling them apart until they calm down.

After resolving all three conflicts, report back to Melina and the queen to begin the evacuation. Once the evacuation is complete, you can go defeat the red pillar boss.

Fazess’s Resistance

1. If you defeat Fazess before the giant enters self-destruction, you can trigger this mission by approaching with your main follower. It will automatically initiate a cutscene.
