Wuthering Waves: Sanhua Development Guide

Voice and body pairing

First of all, let’s talk about the crucial voice and body pairing. Since Sanhua’s main output is a one-hit kill, I didn’t equip her with the Wunianye Bai Shuang set. Instead, I used two pieces of Qingyun Chu Yue and two pieces of Nianye Bai Shuang. Each piece can have an excellent attribute voice and body, allowing for faster cycling and more flexible formation.

This setup consists of 4+4+1+1+1, making it affordable and easy to level up.

The first voice and body skill can be Unpredictable Xiong Lu if you want Sanhua to deal higher damage. If you want Sanhua to deal even higher damage, you can choose Bright Firefly Military Might. The two four-cost voice and bodies should have crit as the main attribute, with secondary stats focused on double crit attack and skill enhancement.

The remaining three one-cost voice and bodies should all focus on attack enhancement, as they are easier to level up.

When it comes to matching voice and body, it depends on the set and attributes. It doesn’t matter which voice and body you use, as long as you can match 2 Qingyun and 2 Bai Shuang.

Weapon selection
Next is weapon selection. It’s best to have a five-star critical hit weapon, but if not, you can use the four-star weapons in the pool or the DaYueKa.

Skills
Now let’s talk about the skills. First, everyone needs to understand what lasting skills and changing skills mean. Simply put, “lasting skills” refers to the skills that occur when leaving the field, while “changing skills” occurs upon entering the field. These two skills trigger simultaneously when you switch characters after reaching maximum coordination value points. So, it’s best to switch characters after the current character’s coordination value is full. After finishing a burst, Sanhua can fill the coordination value, and ideally, the main DPS character should also complete a burst and return to allow Sanhua to burst again.

Sanhua’s lasting skill enhances basic attacks for teammates.

This is the coordination value. Switch characters when it’s full to trigger lasting skills.

Sanhua’s core skill is Resonance Loop, which can detonate the ice prisms produced by small skills, the glaciers produced by the ultimate, and the ice thorns produced by changing skills, resulting in significant burst output. It also generates a large amount of coordination value, allowing Sanhua to switch characters after completing a set. The description of the skill states that it increases the length of the judgment bar for releasing a heavy blow burst after holding down basic attacks.

This is the glacier produced by the ultimate.

There’s not much to say about the small skill and the ultimate; the main point is to use a heavy blow burst to detonate the ice. When there’s no perspective, the judgment bar is very short, but with perspective, it becomes much longer. Press and hold the basic attack for a while until the pointer reaches the blue area, then release to perform a heavy blow burst.

This is the situation without perspective, where the judgment blue bar is very short, and the light flashes when pressing and holding the basic attack to reach the position.

This is the situation with perspective, where the blue bar is long, allowing for easy heavy blow burst to detonate the ice.

Rotation method
Finally, let’s talk about the rotation method. Sanhua’s one-hit kill is simple and straightforward. Here’s a brief description.

Enter combat and immediately use Unpredictable Xiong Lu from the voice and body skill, followed by the small skill and the ultimate. Finally, hold down the basic attack to release a heavy blow burst to detonate the ice. At this point, switch to your other DPS character to perform their burst. Once they’ve finished their burst, switch back to Sanhua and continue the rotation.
