Manor Lords: How to Expand Population

Manor Lords: How to Expand Population
  1. To expand the population, it is necessary to have the approval of over 50% of the people and surplus houses. When the approval reaches 50% and there are surplus houses, one household will be added each month. If the approval reaches over 75%, two households will be added each month. This continues until the approval rating is too low or all houses are occupied.
  2. At the beginning, focus on harvesting, logging, and building warehouses and granaries. After relocating houses and establishing a market, manage the warehouses and granaries to make room for new households. Aim to complete five living spaces as soon as possible to prevent further decline in public opinion. A house icon represents one living space. If the length is sufficient, there will be a house icon with a hammer, indicating expansion space. If you plan to grow crops or apples in the future, extend the length accordingly as yield is related to area. If you plan to raise chickens (for eggs), goats (for hides), or various workshops, make the space smaller. Plan the width wide enough to accommodate multiple houses. Occasionally, there will be a small house with a plus sign, indicating the possibility of building an additional living space after the house is built. When planning multiple houses, check for plus and minus signs nearby to adjust. This is mainly used to expand crop-growing areas.
  3. Building churches, markets, and wells will increase public opinion and help expand the population.
