Manor Lords: Solutions to Insufficient Market Supply

Reason
According to the game description, the supply of goods in the castle grounds is provided by stalls in the market. The buildings that can provide the stall function are mainly storage buildings and some production buildings. When a small shed icon appears in the lower right corner of the avatar in a building, it indicates that the person has set up a stall in the market to start providing goods.

Manor Lords: Solutions to Insufficient Market Supply

The supply range of a market is very large, and may even cover an entire block. But why, in the early and middle stages, when there should be enough meat and wood to last for 20 months, does it keep indicating insufficient goods and decrease public opinion? The first sentence: lack of warehouses. That is, warehouses are equivalent to “buildings that provide stall jobs”. With fewer warehouses, there are fewer stalls.

Take firewood as an example. Despite having piled up 70 months’ worth of firewood, the supply is still insufficient because all the firewood is concentrated in one warehouse. According to the game progress, many players will definitely upgrade their warehouses to level 2, which have 10 times the storage capacity of level 1 warehouses, but only provide three times the number of positions compared to level 1 warehouses (if I remember correctly, it’s 6 people). Therefore, in extreme cases, while there may be 2500 units of firewood in the warehouse, there are only 6 people manning the stalls, and since the quantity provided by each stall is limited, the excess firewood remains unused in the warehouse. Hence, the shortage of supply.

Solution
Step one, remove the option for firewood from the large warehouse and prevent it from collecting firewood.

Step two, build multiple small warehouses with a storage capacity of 250, and only store firewood in them. Then, adjust the warehouse managers according to actual conditions.

Food follows a similar principle, but it’s slightly more complex as it requires a variety of food to ensure that vegetables and berries are sufficient. Firewood is the most easily deficient supply.

Clothing stalls, on the other hand, are the least worrisome, as finished garments count as stalls and raw materials also count towards the clothing stalls, with low demand that can usually be met.

Lastly, regarding the supply of beer in a level-3 castle, apart from ensuring enough alcohol, there also needs to be an adequate number of taverns. This is because people will go drink and relax at the tavern after work! If there is only one tavern and it’s far away, it significantly affects commuting time and work efficiency.
