Dragon’s Dogma 2: Which is stronger, the Archer or the Magic Archer

The Magic Archer is very powerful, but it can become monotonous after prolonged use, especially since it becomes available later in the game (excluding advanced access). It is recommended to enjoy its strengths without overly pursuing Wizard skills, as the class is already formidable. The Archer may lack in power, but offers a satisfying gameplay experience, particularly favored by players using a keyboard and mouse setup (less so for controllers). Its effectiveness peaks in the middle to late stages, primarily relying on special arrows that need to be crafted or acquired. Despite the slower pace, Dragon’s Dogma itself isn’t challenging and can provide an immersive experience.

Dragon's Dogma 2: Which is stronger, the Archer or the Magic Archer

The Magic Archer is likely the second strongest class, but its reliance on magical attributes can pose challenges when facing golems, contrasting its effectiveness against other foes. The Archer, being comparatively weaker, doesn’t offer as much utility when played solo, often overshadowed by melee-focused classes. Consider blending Wizard and Archer roles when mixing classes in the future.

The Magic Archer boasts significantly higher strength. For optimal preparation, focusing on Wizard training may be more advantageous, as the class benefits from three passive skills that enhance magical attack, weak point damage, and prolong abnormal status effects, aligning well with the Magic Archer’s capabilities.
