Wuthering Waves: Rover (Havoc) Team Composition and Output Techniques Explanation

Rover (Havoc) Panel

Wuthering Waves: Rover (Havoc) Team Composition and Output Techniques Explanation

This is my current Rover (Havoc) fully equipped panel (eating various buffs): Attack 1826, Defense 1667, Crit Rate 63.5, Crit Damage 276.2, Annihilation Bonus 123.6. In the vast world, except for holograms and red names, other monsters will die if I cannot trigger the big move.

The stats are not too high because I haven’t fully upgraded yet. There must be experts higher than me, hoping they can share.

Team Composition Explanation

Rover, Zero Life Verina, Zero Life Danjin.

Wuthering Waves: Rover (Havoc) Team Composition and Output Techniques Explanation

Zero Life Verina

Recommended Echo Hidden Return to Light.

43311, choose Echoing Turtle. Because Echoing Turtle, Verina’s Delayed Coordination, and Hidden Return to Light all increase damage for the whole team.

Zero Life Danjin

Recommended Echo Light Clouds Out of the Moon, because Danjin’s rotation must be quickly recharged to let Rover eat all buffs.

43311, choose Impulsive Xiong Lu. Because Light Clouds Out of the Moon, Impulsive Xiong Lu, and Danjin’s Delayed Coordination increase damage for the next character rather than the entire team.

Wuthering Waves: Rover (Havoc) Team Composition and Output Techniques Explanation

Output Process and Techniques

First, eat golden food, then:

Zero Life Verina accumulates ult with basic attacks and coordination, then within two seconds:
Ult – Resonance Skill – Heavy Strike – Echoing Turtle – Coordination

Reasons:

Ult: Can cooperate in battle
Resonance Skill + Heavy Strike: Supplement damage
Echoing Turtle: Team-wide 15-second 10% damage increase, 50% damage reduction
Verina’s Coordination: Team-wide 30-second 10% damage increase
Echo Hidden Return to Light: Team-wide 30-second 15% attack increase
Verina’s Second-tier Passive: Team-wide 20-second 20% attack increase
Zero Life Danjin accumulates ult and coordination, then within one second:
Ult – Impulsive Xiong Lu – Coordination

Reasons:

Ult: Danjin must recharge quickly first; the 15-second buff is too short, which is why Light Clouds Out of the Moon is brought along. Danjin’s quick recharge method: Resonance Skill – Basic Attack – Basic Attack – Resonance Skill – Resonance Skill – Resonance Skill (Danjin’s set of 50 energy, in one cycle is enough for coordination), actual combat can fully charge in five seconds.

Impulsive Xiong Lu: 15-second 12% damage increase for the next character

Coordination: 14-second 23% annihilation damage increase for the next character

Light Clouds Out of the Moon: 15-second 22.5% attack increase for the next character

Rover outputs:

Resonance Skill – Activate Passive – Resonance Skill – Ult – Senseless – Strengthened Heavy Strike – Strengthened Basic Attack – Accumulate another Passive and Ult

Reasons:

Resonance – Activate – Resonance: Rover’s Secondary Skill can refresh Resonance, Rover’s Special Weapon opens Resonance twice, increasing attack by 15%, Rover’s Dark Surge increases annihilation by 20%

Wuthering Waves: Rover (Havoc) Team Composition and Output Techniques Explanation

Ult – Senseless: Open Ult then Senseless, Senseless can increase damage by 50%

Strengthened Heavy Strike – Strengthened Basic Attack: During Dark Surge, there is a strengthened Heavy Strike and strengthened Basic Attack, and high rate of strengthened Basic Attack in the latter two. After Dark Surge’s passive is strengthened, Basic Attack is high rate’s last two.

Accumulate another Passive and Ult: Rover quickly injures, needs to be cut, needs to accumulate status in advance.

Rover’s total buff: 72.5% attack, 32% damage increase, 43% annihilation damage increase.

Additional: Full Life Danjin is cut, and can add 20% attack again, not calculated here.

Echo Selection

Distinguish between 44111 and 43311.

44111: Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Attack, Attack, Attack.

This set is mainly used for quick graduation, with a very low upper limit.

Reasons: Rough output range = (1 + elemental bonus) / enemy elemental resistance * (Crit Damage) * Attack / enemy defense * other bonuses.

Simply put, usually calculating output, only multiply and add. But in actual monster fighting, there are also division and subtraction.

Attack: Attack bonus is calculated on the base attack, the higher the level, the higher the attack, the higher the defense, the more diluted the attack. For example, in a mathematical example, 100/99 > 101/100, because 1/99 > 1/100, although the numerator (attack) and the denominator (defense) are both increasing, the overall decreases (diluted). Attack bonus is calculated in the numerator, the larger the numerator (attack), the higher the output, but overall diluted.
Crit Damage: Because there is no anti-critical attribute, double crit is a fixed proportion.
Enemy elemental resistance does not increase with level, resistance remains unchanged, higher elemental bonus is better, denominator unchanged, elemental bonus will not be diluted, unless it is a resistant monster.
Attack is constantly diluted, and 43311 elements also increase by 60%, in the output range, 60% will be infinitely amplified. As an example, when I use 44111, Rover (Havoc) (Havoc) will have about 10,000 damage; switch to 43311, the ultimate move can have about 20,000.

43311: Crit Damage, Annihilation, Annihilation, Attack, Attack.

This set mainly has 3 points, Echo 4th position choose between Senseless and Crownless, 4th position choose between Crit Damage and Crit Rate, secondary attributes choose.

Choose Senseless:
The above operation flow can clearly see that after Verina’s rotation, only 15 seconds of all buffs are left, and Danjin’s recharge plus rotation is only seven seconds, leaving only eight seconds for Rover’s output. Senseless can quickly increase damage, and it feels better to use.

Choose Crit Damage:
Rover’s special weapon is full level 24.6 critical hit, full life 25 critical hit, golden food 30 critical hit. That means Rover can easily exceed 75 critical hits without Echo’s critical hits.

Secondary attribute selection:
First say the conclusion: Crit Damage > Attack percentage = Crit Rate > Resonance Skill = Heavy Strike = Resonance Release = Basic Attack > Attack.

First, Rover’s critical hit is too easy to overflow, and the priority of critical hit is reduced;
Secondly, during Rover’s Dark Surge, mainly rely on Resonance Skill, Resonance Release, Strengthened Heavy Strike, Strengthened Basic Attack output, choose secondary attributes that can directly increase damage for them;
Finally, Attack percentage, rotation output attack sources are too many, attack multiplication zone is severely diluted, priority reduced.

The highest output multiplication zone should be elemental bonus, that is, annihilation bonus, but only the main attributes have it.

Summary

Fully equipped Rover comes with 50% critical hit, regardless of secondary or main attributes, Crit Damage priority is highest.

Rotation output attack sources are many, and the higher the level, the more severe the attack dilution, secondary attributes such as Heavy Strike, Resonance Skill, Resonance Release, and Basic Attack become more important.

Output process must be correct, Verina is team-wide damage increase, Danjin is damage increase for the next character.

Echo selection must be correct, choose Echoing Turtle for Verina, Light Clouds Out of the Moon for Danjin (for quick rotation), and 43311 for Rover.

This output process requires Rover to accumulate passive and ultimate in advance, Senseless can accumulate quickly, and playing feels more comfortable.
