Wuthering Waves: Jiyan Cultivation Guide
Introduction
Positioned as a main character suitable for both group and single combat, Jiyan boasts good output efficiency.

Recommendations
Zero enhancements are sufficient; one enhancement mechanism is recommended.
Recommendation: 43311
- Four-cost gorilla (choose critical hit rate with exclusive weapon, vice versa without exclusive weapon)
- Three-cost with pneumatic and one-cost with double attack
Secondary attributes: double critical hit rate > damage bonus > attack power > health and defense

Recommended Team
- Avoid Ignis, Morteve, and Verina.
Recommended Equipment
- Ignis: pneumatic five-piece set
- Morteve: light cloud five-piece set (energy charging + attack)
- Verina: light back five-piece set (attack + health regeneration)
Recommended Combo
- Ignis enters the field, accumulate energy with normal attacks to at least one grid.
- Trigger cadence to switch to nurse (Verina).
- Fully exchange all three skills with normal attacks, triggering cadence to switch to Morteve.
- Except for minor skills, fully exchange without cadence and switch directly to Ignis.
- Smash the voice core directly when available (Ignis’ ultimate with one energy grid will trigger the first phase enhancement).
- During the duration of the ultimate, intersperse skill usage with normal attacks; all attacks are heavy during this time, maximizing gains.
Material Collection
Materials needed are dropped by this gorilla:
- Golden Yangfeng
- Available for purchase at the pharmacy (if you insist on collecting, I can’t help you, I never collect myself, you can check other guides for that).
- Voice Core (unless you dislike fighting monsters, you should have no shortage).
Weapon Recommendations
- Exclusive weapon > Permanent weapons ≥ Monthly card > Forge four-star > Normal four-star
- (Forge four-star is better because it can refine to five faster than normal four-star.)
